We’re a little over two weeks away from the release of Colter’s upcoming album Western Swing & Waltzes and Other Punchy Songs, but today, he’s back with another acoustic preview from the bunkhouse.
But first, how about this?
“Caroline” came up on the ol’ shuffle yesterday and holy hell if that song ain’t a kick in the soul.
Anyways, back to business…
In the 4th installment of Colter’s Bunkhouse Sessions, he gives us a first look at “Houlihans at the Holiday Inn,” the final track on the upcoming album. Previously he’s performed “Cowpoke,” “Diamond Joe,” and “Rocky Mountain Rangers.”
Western Swing & Waltzes and Other Punchy Songs will hit shelves on August 28th.
Colter recently received some high praise from Joe Rogan, who after discovering his music called him “legit as fuck.”
Joe has also shown love for the likes of Tyler Childers, Sturgill Simpson, Chris Stapleton, Jason Isbell and others so I would say Joe’s endorsement puts Colter in some pretty good company.
