Colter Wall Previews Upcoming Album With Bunkhouse Performance Of “Rocky Mountain Rangers”

Loving these Bunkhouse Sessions previews of Colter’s new record.

So far, we’ve seen him perform “Cowpoke,” and “Diamond Joe,” and now, he’s back in the bunkhouse with an acoustic rendition of “Rocky Mountain Rangers.” Written solely by Colter himself, “Rocky Mountain Rangers,” is a boot stompin’ ode to the rag-tag cavalry unit of the same name, way back in 1885.

“Rocky Mountain Rangers, Riding o’er the plains sir
Of all the western Cavalry, There’s none any stranger
Rocky Mountain Rangers, Well equipped for danger
Mounted high in the year of ‘85.”

No joke, I’ve listened to this like 30 times in a row…

Western Swing & Waltzes and Other Punchy Songs will hit shelves on August 28th.
