Could there be wedding bells in the near future for Bill and Jordon? I guess anything’s possible…
Over the weekend, an interview with former NFL coach Bill Belichick went viral, not only because he’s coaching college football for the first time after taking the job as head coach at UNC, but for the part his (much) younger new girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, played in everything. During a conversation with CBS Sunday Mornings, Jordon sat off to the side, watching intently as Bill was questioned about a wide array of topics. And when interviewer Tony Dokoupil asked how the couple met, which has already widely been covered, Hudson quickly chimed in from off camera to shut it down:
“We’re not talking about this.”
It was an incredibly awkward moment that seemed to catch the interviewer off guard, and when Dokoupil asked about the photos of their relationship that Hudson shared on social media, Belichick didn’t seem interested in discussing that either:
“I’m on some of those social media platforms, but I honestly don’t follow them.”
“We’re not talking about this.”

There’s a 48-year age difference between the 73-year old coach and the 24-year old former cheerleader, who reportedly met on a flight a few years ago and kept in touch after striking up a conversation. (What could they possibly have to talk about? Who knows). She previously claimed that they met on a flight in February of 2021, while Hudson was a student at Bridgewater State University. TMZ reported back then that Belichick approached her after noticing she was reading a textbook on Deductive Logic and signed it with his Super Bowl victories..
And she’s apparently even helping Belichick out in his new job, as recently-released emails showed that Belichick had asked UNC staff members to copy Hudson on emails to him so she could help the team out with social media, and Hudson expressing her concerns with comments about their relationship on the team’s social media posts. Hudson has also been spotted helping out at UNC football practice, which led to a lot of comments – and some concerns from Tar Heel fans (rightfully so, I’d be seriously concerned if I was a Tar Heel fan).
It’s really not a good look for the legendary NFL head coach, and according to TMZ, Hudson reportedly stormed off the set during the interview, and “expected Bill to follow her.” The whole thing caused a 30-minute delay, and she apparently interrupted the interview several other times throughout the process, including corrected her boyfriend on some of his answer to football-related questions… I mean, she’s got some serious nerve to correct Bill Belichick, one of the NFL’s greatest coaches, on the one subject he knows more about than anyone.
They ended up canceling a follow up, and Page Six exclusively reported this evening that Hudson was out at an American Museum of Natural History luncheon in New York City on Tuesday with her much older boyfriend sporting a pretty big ring on her engagement finger…
An eyewitness also told Page Six that Belichick was on his phone a lot, and Jordon had her hand placed on his knee trying to keep him “engaged” in the conversation:
“Belichick seemed distracted and on his phone while Jordon had her hand on his knee for much of the presentation as if to keep him engaged.”
Bill is currently promoting his book Art of Winning: Lessons from My Life in Football, and they are no strangers to engagement rumors. Back in February, Jordon sported a large silver ring on her wedding finger while attending the NFL Honors in New Orleans with Bill. I highly doubt they’re engaged, but like I said, anything is certainly possible.

Today, Hudson also took time to address the now-viral CBS interview, sharing a lengthy screenshot of an email from “Bill,” where he criticized media coverage of his aforementioned upcoming book.
