It’s the question everybody wants to know.
Well, I actually thought we did know the answer, but apparently not… over the weekend, an interview with former NFL coach Bill Belichick went viral, not only because he’s coaching college football for the first time after taking the job as head coach at UNC, but for the part his (much) younger new girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, played in everything.
There’s a 48-year age difference between the 73-year old coach and the 24-year old former cheerleader, who reportedly met on a flight a few years ago and kept in touch after striking up a conversation. (What could they possibly have to talk about? Who knows). She previously claimed that they met on a flight in February of 2021, while Hudson was a student at Bridgewater State University. TMZ reported back then that Belichick approached her after noticing she was reading a textbook on Deductive Logic and signed it… which all feels like a huge stretch, but we had no real reason not to believe them at the time.
And she’s apparently even helping Belichick out in his new job, as recently-released emails showed that Belichick had asked UNC staff members to copy Hudson on emails to him so she could help the team out with social media, and Hudson expressing her concerns with comments about their relationship on the team’s social media posts
“Is there anyone monitoring the UNC Football page for slanderous commentary and subsequently deleting it/blocking users that are harassing BB in the comments?”
The next day, Belichick added:
“I cannot believe that UNC would support my being called a ‘predator.’”
Hudson’s official title is apparently, “Chief Operating Officer of Belichick Productions,” AKA his personal mouthpiece and PR agent.
Hudson has also been spotted helping out at UNC football practice, which led to a lot of comments – and some concerns from Tar Heel fans (rightfully so, I’d be seriously concerned if I was a Tar Heel fan):

But as much concern as Hudson apparently has about how their relationship is portrayed on social media, she doesn’t really seem to be interested in talking about it publicly – or allowing Belichick to talk about it. The legendary coach sat down today for an interview with CBS Sunday Morning, where Hudson played a very big role and has since made tons of headlines because of. She sat off to the side, watching intently as Bill was questioned about a wide array of topics.
And when interviewer Tony Dokoupil asked how the couple met, which has already widely been covered, Hudson quickly chimed in from off camera to shut it down:
“We’re not talking about this.”
It was an incredibly awkward moment that seemed to catch the interviewer off guard, and when Dokoupil asked about the photos of their relationship that Hudson shared on social media, Belichick didn’t seem interested in discussing that either:
“I’m on some of those social media platforms, but I honestly don’t follow them.”
“We’re not talking about this.”

The story had made national headlines for obvious reasons, and caused people to only want to dig into it more… I’ve seen tons of rumors on X and TikTok speculating that she could’ve been some sort of high-end escort, though I highly doubt that’s the case… it seems much more likely that they met on a dating app and are for some reason embarrassed to tell the world like that’s some crazy thing these days.
Hudson is acting like it never happened, though, sharing a new post on Instagram this morning of herself lounging around outside in a yellow set, with daffodils in-hand, frolicking without a care in the world.
But she’s pretty brave for leaving the comments on, and not shockingly, people flooded the post with questions about where they met, and why she wouldn’t allow him to speak about it publicly:
“How did you and Bill meet?
“Where did you and Bill meet?”
“WE ARE NOT TALKING ABOUT THIS.”
“What you’re doing to Belichick is elder abuse. Hopefully his family intervenes soon.”
“Be nice to Bill let him speak for himself.”
“I hope his family steps in and saves him.”
“So how did you two meet?”
“We know something weird is going on from the interview.”
“You lurking in Bill’s interview and chiming in is so obnoxious it hurts my soul. The fact that you think you can dictate what people talk about shows your level of narcissism. You’re with an old fart that’s old enough to be your great grandfather, you’re not the queen of England.”
“So what’s the real story about how you and Bill met?!”
“I would ask where the two of you met, but I think I know the answer…”
“Come on. Tell us which app y’all met on.”
“So how did you and BB meet? Like seriously?”
“How’d you and Bill meet?”
“We are hearing you loud and clear RUN Bill!”
“How’d you and Billy meet?”
“We’re gonna free Bill Belichick and you can’t stop us.”
Inquiring minds want to know, and they better be prepared to be asked this exact question at every interview here on out until they give a straight answer.
