Off the road and into the stand.
Koe Wetzel is showing off his most recent takedown in his home state of Texas. The East Texas-raised singer is taking a break from touring after his Wetzel’s Wonderland string of dates. During his downtime, Koe is spending time with family and friends.
When Koe is not indoors spending time with babies, cooking, or watching football (Go, Cowboys), he is in the great outdoors. Koe Wetzel is an avid outdoorsman who spends most of his free time in deer stands, going on exotic hunting trips, fishing, or noodling.
Over the years, Koe has never been shy about showing off his trophies, and fans love it.
“Last week I bought a one way ticket to Colorado to check off a bucket list hunt of mine. This trip had a lot of ups and downs, but it was all worth it in the end. I can’t thank Hunt Nest and Clay Hill enough for making it all happen and putting me on this once in a lifetime mountain cat!”
This year, we were lucky enough to get video footage of Koe’s Illinois whitetail deer hunt from 2023, where the hunt from start to finish was made into a short-form film. Seeing Koe’s excitement from taking down the buck with a beautiful shot quartering away, the rush of perfectly placing an arrow or shot never gets old.
“I always look forward to coming to Illinois and hunting the rut in November every year. It was some hard hunting this week with the weather and warmer days but after 8 full day sits we finally smoked a brute in the last 15 minutes!”
Again, you can tell that feeling never gets old as Koe shows off his most recent buck taken down in Texas. Koe poses with a 10-point buck, and it’s a beauty. Koe is grinning from ear to ear as he admires a new one to add to this collection.
