I mean, I guess she’s lucky that’s all the damage it did?
Maybe I’m just a wimp, but you’re never going to find me sitting on any sharks. Or touching them. Or being anywhere near them.
Every year we report on numerous stories of interactions with sharks gone wrong, but for some reason people still tempt fate and try to get too close to these vicious predators.
And apparently, Natalie Reynolds has never read any of those warning stories.
The influencer and her friends camped out on a beach one night in an attempt to catch a shark. And after awhile, they were finally able to reel one in – and it was a pretty good sized one too.

And once they got the shark into shallow water, Natalie decided to jump on top of the beast as she was livestreaming on her Kick platform.
But after she got up, she realized that the shark had actually caused some damage in…well, a rather unfortunate place:
“Dude there’s cuts on my asshole. Like right where I was sitting on top of the shark.
Oh I’m bleeding right by my butt…
I cut right where my butt crack is. It’s bleeding right here.”
While most people probably think shark skin is smooth, the animals actually have rough teeth-like scales that can burn like sandpaper if you rub it in the wrong direction. (Not that there’s really a “right” direction to rub a shark).
Now, it should go without saying: Don’t try to sit on a shark. This could have ended with something much worse than a torn butthole, not to mention it’s incredibly cruel to the animal.
And many online weren’t happy with Natalie’s stunt, taking to social media to criticize the influencer for using the shark for a photo op.
“Literally terrorising the animal and stretching it’s mouth open…did u think this was cool??”
“She has no shame at all. I hope she gets a huge fine and loses contracts because of this. She should be ashamed of herself”
As if the shark tearing her a new asshole wasn’t bad enough…
