A big week for Parker McCollum.

After the CMT Music Awards and after his stellar performance of “Burnt It Down” with Brittany Spencer, the gold chain cowboy secured his fourth straight number-one single.

The single from his 2023 album Never Enough instantly became a fan favorite. It sat at the top of both the Mediabase chart and Billboard Country Airplay chart (both charts labels officially use to track the song’s performance).

Parker McCollum took some time for himself to celebrate the career milestone and this morning took to social media to express his gratitude to his fans for making the single a success:

“Crazy weekend, crazy week. ‘Burn It Down’ is number one on country radio, on the Billboard country charts. Shoutout to Hillary Lindsey, Lori McKenna, and Liz Rose for being absolute superstars and always writing great songs with me.

I’m blown away to have four straight number ones. I can’t even explain what it feels like. I’m not even really sure what it feels like yet, I’m still kind of processing it all….

I can’t even explain how grateful and how humbling it is to work so hard for something and to get to have a little bit of success. I certainly don’t take it for granted.”

On top of that, McCollum found out about his two ACM Award nominations this morning.

“I just wanted to say I love you guys. Thanks for always showing so much love my way.”

McCollum wrapped up the video, noting that fans might have some new music coming soon.

“I can’t wait for y’all to hear this new music… I may have a little bit coming out soon.”

McCollum took to Twitter in March, noting that he has been in the studio working on this 5th studio album and that it was some of his best work since Limestone Kid. Given the successes of his other number-one singles, which all came after Limestone Kid, I can only imagine the gold mine that his album will be filled with.

“I know for 100% fact that these songs and this record is the best I’ve put together since the kid. Took me a long time to get back to this place as a songwriter. Feels good to be happy about my songs again.”

Man I am fired up to hear what is next from Parker McCollum.

While you’re here, fire up “Burn It Down.”
