Living out in the woods has its perks, but it also has its mountain lions.
Thought I was going to saw drawbacks right there, didn’t you? I was just keeping you on your toes just like this big cat was keeping one homeowner on his toes as the wild animal peered through the windows of his house.
We don’t know exactly where this video takes place, but you could safely describe it as “Big Cat Country.” The snow covered landscape you see through the windows is beautiful, but it somehow makes the mountain lion’s presence that much more intimidating.
The man filming suggests that the animal visitor has been lurking around his house for a while, and has already looked through his windows a handful of times before. Even though he’s already seen the mountain lion, it didn’t make this appearance any less scary.
The man said this as he watched the cat parade around his home in the snow:
“I don’t know where he’s planning to… he’s looking in the house though. Phew, that’s a big cat. He is very unconcerned about us.”
He’s right about that. That mountain lion didn’t have a care in the world that the man was standing in the window, and gave him quite the lengthy and “what-are-you-looking-at” stare.
The man referred to the animal as their “outdoor kitty,” and I’m sure he’d prefer to keep it outdoors. Based on the footage though, it looks like the big cat has standing plans of getting inside that house at some point.

Those in the comment section of the post had plenty to say about the mountain lion, and one person had quite possibly the worst idea of all time (I hope they were joking):
“He’s trying to figure out how to get his food out of the glass box.”

“Beautiful cat. Nice sized one. Hope it leaves and finds a wild turkey or something to eat.”
“I would be so scared to come out of my house after that, but what a beautiful animal!”
