The ladies are gonna love this one.

Riley Green just announced that a new song called “Worst Way” is dropping tonight at midnight, the first release since he announced his forthcoming Way Out Here EP.

It’s a rare love song of sorts from the Alabama native, which finds him longing for this girl and wanting “the first taste of whiskey to be off your lips.”

He shared a clip of it on Instagram this afternoon, and the super sexy song is the only solo write he has on the aforementioned EP, and I’m telling you, there’s just something about the songs he writes by himself that hit different (“I Wish Grandpas Never Died” and “Numbers on the Cars” come to mind as much less steamy examples):

“Girl I can’t wait any more
I want you in the worst way
My hands are needing your hips
Want the first taste of whiskey
To be off your lips”

Like I said, this will become a quick favorite among Riley’s female fan base…

“‘Worst Way’ comes out at midnight.”

Also included on the seven-song Way Out Here EP tracklist are several other unreleased tunes he’s teased before in “Good Morning from Mexico,” “Pick a Place,” “Worst Way” and his current single at country radio, “Damn Good Day to Leave.”

The project slated to drop on Friday, April 12th, the day Riley kicks off his inaugural Duckman Jam festival.
