“Damn Good Day To Leave” Headed To Country Radio As Riley Green’s Next Single

Another solid Riley Green single is headed to country radio.

After recently scoring his third career #1 hit with “Different ‘Round Here” featuring Luke Combs, Riley’s next single is “Damn Good Day To Leave.”

It was included on his 2023 sophomore studio album Ain’t My Last Rodeo, and was written by Riley along with frequent collaborators Erik Dylan, Jonathan Singleton and Nick Walsh, and is still easily one of my favorites on the album.

A song about the serendipitous timing this girl chose to left him, Riley details how he no longer has to watch The Bachelorette and can spend more time fishing and doing what he wants without getting any shit for it… sounds like he took the break up pretty hard.

Its funny and catchy with a nostalgic, upbeat, 90’s-style production, and to quote myself on the post I wrote when the album was released:

“I think it could make a great radio single when the time comes to pick a new one.”

Enough said…
