If you aren’t already familiar with Drake Milligan, you need to be. Milligan is more than the man who played Elvis for CMT’s series Sun Records, although his slicked-back dark hair and swag make him the perfect choice to portray the King of Rock and Roll.

Along with his old-school moves, Drake is also bringing back classic country sound.

His latest EP, Jukebox Songs, has been critically acclaimed and captured the hearts of Texas country fans as his sound is inspired by the greats like Merle Haggard and Alan Jackson but has an old Western flare like Marty Robbins and honky tonk feel even King George would sign off on.

Following his performance to his biggest crowd at the Country To Country Festival in London, England, Milligan continued to broadcast his sound nationally with an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show.

Clarkson is known for bringing top-notch talent to her show and country music up-and-comers, like 49 Winchester…and now it’s Drake Milligan’s time to shine.

He wows the crowd on the daytime talk show by performing a new track from Jukebox Songs, “What I Couldn’t Forget.”

He lets his words do the talking, performing with confidence and suave. His silky smooth vocals coat listeners’ ears and the traditional honky tonk sound makes you want to hit the dance floor to two step.

“I can’t remember what I couldn’t forget
That train of thought took off the moment we met
All I’ve got is you girl, running through my head
Now I can’t remember what I couldn’t forget…”

Drake Milligan is the next big honky tonk name, and his Texas roots shine bright throughout this stellar performance.
