Looks Like Jason Kelce Finally Got To Jump Through A Burning Table

It’s good to see Jason Kelce is already enjoying his retirement.

Yesterday the future Hall of Fame center announced his retirement after 13 seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles.

It was an emotional press conference for the beloved Kelce, who spent time reflecting on his football career and thanking those who have been there with him along the way.

But it seems like Kelce has already moved on to enjoying things that he couldn’t do when he had to protect his body for his football career.

We learned earlier year that one of Kelce’s life goals was to jump through a burning table, taking inspiration from Buffalo Bills fans after spending some time with them at a tailgate during the Kansas City Chiefs’ playoff run.

As Jason’s wife Kylie revealed during an appearance on Good Morning America:

“He wanted to get the full Bills experience…

He desperately wanted to go through a table. It was on his checklist for the day. Top priority for the day, go through a table.

He did not get a chance to do that, and so when he came into the suite – we arrived separately because he was meeting up with some friends and walking through the parking lot, I think hoping to find himself a table.

And so when he got into the suite he said to me, ‘I’m gonna take my shirt off and I’m gonna jump out.’

I was like, ‘I don’t think that’s the best idea.’

But I think it was that continued energy from when he was hyping himself up to break a table.”

Unfortunately Jason wasn’t able to make his dreams come true in Buffalo. But now that he’s retired and doesn’t have to worry (as much) about getting injured, you just knew he would be flying through a table sooner rather than later.

Emphasis on “sooner.”

During a sneak peek of tomorrow’s episode of New Heights, the podcast that Jason hosts alongside his brother Travis Kelce, we see that Jason finally got the chance to live out his dream of jumping through a burning table. But it looks a little more controlled than doing it at a Bills tailgate: There are firemen on scene, and Jason is wearing protective gear to make sure he doesn’t get hurt TOO badly.

After all, he does have a wife and three kids at home…

But either way, Jason looks just as excited as you’d hope he would be when he finally gets up after going through the table (and after the firefighter puts out the fire on his ass).

@newheightshowJason’s retirement is off to a hot start … literally NEW EPISODE. TOMORROW.

I have a feeling the Jason Kelce retirement content is going to be FIRE. No pun intended…
