Looking out for his fans.
Cody Johnson is currently on the road for his Leather tour after the release of his latest album last fall. And the sold-out tour has really showcased the star power of the cowboy from Texas.
But during a recent show, Cody also showed us all just what a great guy he is.
CoJo spotted a fan in the crowd who needed medical attention, and quickly stopped the crowd to call for help for the young woman:
“Can we get some medical attention down here on the front row please?”
And he also made sure that fans knew they were safe at his shows – unlike rapper Travis Scott, who continued with his show during a deadly crowd crush at his Astroworld Festival back in 2021 that left 10 people dead, dozens hospitalized and hundreds with minor injuries.
But that’s not how CoJo does things:
“This is not a Travis Scott concert. We will stop to help people out…
Y’all just sit tight. As soon as we figure this out we’ll continue with the show, but I’m gonna tell you right now, this is about you, this ain’t about me, so we’re going to stop and take care of this young lady before we do anything.”
Wouldn’t expect anything less from CoJo.

Cody recently had another heartwarming moment at one of his shows when he spotted a young fan’s sign that brought him to tears.
Towards the end of a show in Anaheim, Cody saw a young fan in the crowd holding the sign, his voice breaking as he read it out loud:
“I survived my bone marrow transplant to see CoJo. Your biggest fan”
Cody then took off his guitar and stepped down from the stage to give the fan a hug – and a guitar pick – before wiping tears from his eyes as he stepped back up to the microphone:
“Y’all might have to give me a minute.”
As he puts his guitar back on and takes a few seconds to compose himself, Cody took a moment to address the young lady before launching into his hit “Til You Can’t.”
“You don’t ever give up, you understand? Don’t you ever give up. Keep fighting strong.”

It’s safe to say that CoJo wasn’t the only one in tears over this heartfelt moment.
