She’s BACK.
Kacey Musgraves has a new album coming very soon, as she just announced on Instagram that her fifth record Deeper Well is due out everywhere on March 15th.
It was produced by Kacey alongside Daniel Tashian and Ian Fitchuk and recorded at Electric Lady studio in New York City, and features a 14-song tracklist:
“My new album, ‘Deeper Well,’ is arriving March 15th. It’s a collection of songs I hold very dear to my heart. I hope it makes a home in all of your hearts, too.

She also shared the album cover, a gorgeous shot of her in a field that is perfectly simple and makes me so excited to hear every song on the tracklist:
After teasing it at the Grammy Awards and posting a nude photo on social media this past weekend, fans were speculating that something was obviously coming.
In addition, she dropped the title track today, which is a stunning, quintessential Kacey, very honest song about growing up, experiencing life, and ultimately wanting and demanding more for yourself.
It is definitely more reminiscent of her earlier work in Same Trailer Different Park and Pageant Material, and I think it’s safe to say that she’s definitely pulling from her country roots and taking a decidedly different, softer turn with this music compared to her most recent 2021 Star-Crossed “divorce album.”
I seriously shed a few tears the first time I heard this… I have missed Kacey dearly and deeply in the country space, and this song is absolutely stunning.
The queen is back doing what she does best, and in my opinion, she’s already in contention for album of the year if the rest of the record is anything like this single.
In the meantime, though, you can find Kacey’s very first album and one of my all-time favorites, the aforementioned Same Trailer Different Park, on this stunning green vinyl from Vinyl Me Please.
