Add another star to the cast.

Demi Moore has officially been cast in the next Taylor Sheridan series, Landman. Based on the podcast Boomtown, the show is set around the West Texas oil industry and is described as the “upstairs/downstairs story of roughnecks and wildcat billionaires fueling a boom so big, it’s reshaping our climate, our economy and our geopolitics.”

Moore will star opposite Billy Bob Thornton and play Cami, the wife of one of the most powerful oil men in Texas.

Showtime and MTV Entertainment Studios president and CEO Chris McCarthy said:

“Demi Moore is an iconic and extraordinary talent. We are thrilled to have her join Billy Bob Thornton and the star-studded cast of ‘Landman,’ our next epic series from Taylor Sheridan.”

The show will also feature Kayla Wallace, James Jordan, Mark Collie, and Paulina Chavez in addition to Ali Larter, Michelle Randolph, and Jacob Lofland.

Landman is just the latest project from Taylor Sheridan, the mastermind behind the popular Yellowstone universe. But aside from Yellowstone and its spinoffs, Sheridan’s portfolio also includes Special Ops: Lioness, Mayor of Kingstown, Tulsa King and Lawmen: Bass Reeves.

As of right now there is no timeline for the premiere, however it looks like filming is already underway in Fort Worth, Texas.
