This is the combo we all knew we needed…
This week, Zach Bryan played a pop up show at the Sagebrush in Austin, Texas, and along with buying beers for the whole crowd and ruining his dry January, he and the boys were joined by a special guest for what looks to be a music video for his upcoming project titled (I believe) The Great American Bar Scene.
None other than Austin resident and Texas legend Matthew McConaughey spent the night with Zach and his crew and judging from the couple pictures and videos that came out of it, it looked to be a hell of a good time.
Obviously, imagining the shenanigans these two could get into while out on the town in Austin is truly an endless pit of ideas, but in a way, doesn’t it make sense that they would link up at some point? Not just because Zach is suddenly a legitimate superstar and McConaughey has long been one of the most recognizable people on the face of the planet, but they’re both guys who do things their way and aren’t afraid to stick to their guns when push comes to shove.
Man, I’d have love to be a fly on the wall at the Sagebrush for all of this.
Zach’s been teasing his next album for awhile now, and if they’re in the music video recording phase, it’s safe to say it won’t be long before we get some new music from him.
