They had to see this coming, right?

LSU gymnast Olivia Dunne has become one of the most recognizable college athletes in the country for…well, obvious reasons.

The 21-year-old has racked up a massive following over the past few years, boasting nearly eight million followers on TikTok, and 4.4 million on Instagram. She’s the highest paid female NIL athlete in college sports, setting herself up for a lucrative career outside of gymnastics.

She’s gotten so popular that LSU actually had to hire a security guard to travel with the team due to crazed Livvy Dunne fans, and even when the team travels to opposing schools, the crowds pack the gymnasiums for the TikTok star.

But things took a serious turn when Livvy was forced to switch to online classes after getting death threats from stalkers:

“I had a scare once with a message that I got about a class I was going to, and I was like ‘you know what, it’s not worth it.’

It was a threat. It seemed like they knew where I was at and what class, and I just decided better safe than sorry.”

All this for a college athlete. Insane.

Well Livvy certainly knows how to use her fame to her advantage (and more power to her), and recently offered some of her gymnastics leotards for sale through a sports memorabilia company.

And let’s just say it went exactly as you’d expect.

Of course they flew off the shelves, even at $130 a pop. But if you were wondering what kind of person would be interested in a used leotard from a college gymnast…well, it probably doesn’t take much imagination to figure it out.

Let’s take a look at the comments:

What…and I cannot emphasize this enough…the f*ck?

Death, taxes, and horny dudes being creepy on the internet.

So basically, it went exactly as you’d expect.
