It’s true: some things really don’t ever get old.

And Kip Moore’s song “Some Things,” from his 2023 Damn Love album, recounts all of the little things in life that make it worth living.

From his mama’s fried chicken, to hitting the local honky tonk and drinking beer on a Friday night, Kip always seems to find joy in simplicity, which is a theme you’ll find often in his writing.

A co-write with Dan Couch, Kip released the music video for “Some Things” today, which was filmed in Maui with some his friends.

It’s full of gorgeous shots of the beach, and is a place that’s very close to his heart as Kip lived in Hawaii for a time before moving to Nashville to pursue country music.

In a post on Instagram, Kip says it’s the last music video from the aforementioned Damn Love record, and he’s been posting some on his Instagram stories that he’s already working on the next album:

“One last video from the Damn Love record. Thanks to @agetime & @lifeinrewindfilms for bringing this to life. Thanks to @live.fast.die.old for all the hospitality.

Cheers to Maui and to everyone that was a part of this video. Maui is still hurting in a major way from the fires. To donate go to my One Heartbeat Hawaii Fund.”

His One Heartbeat Hawaii Fund has been helping empower low-income residents by rebuilding their financial stability and alleviating hardships inflicted from the devastating wildfires that started in Maui this past August:
