The Kelce family has a giant magnifying glass on them since Taylor Swift started dating the youngest Kelce son, Travis.
While Travis Kelce has been taking the added fame in stride, some members of the Kelce family are not as jazzed about the added attention to their family unit.
Kylie Kelce, married to Jason Kelce, spoke up about the spotlight attention prior to the Chiefs versus Eagles game last night. As viewers might have noticed, she was not sitting in the box with the rest of the Kelce family. While Swift was not in attendance at last night’s game, Kylie knew that the Kelce family would be the center of broadcast commentary.
Not only with the two brothers being on the field but also with Travis and Taylor’s relationship becoming so public after the internet nearly broke with events that happened during her Argentina show.
“I will be in the stands (Monday), I’m a stands girl, I love sitting in the stands, cheering with the fans, even if it’s in an opposing team stadium.
It’s not particularly my cup of tea to be in the spotlight or in front of the camera. I was a communication major in college, I love to be behind it. That’s my bread and butter.”
However, she did add, while being interviewed during a field hockey clinic, that she was holding pre-kick-off.
“But at the end of the day, if it creates opportunities like this and I can leverage my network and figure out how to impact a community that has been so, so kind to the Kelce family, I am so happy to give back to Kansas City in any way.”
I don’t blame Kylie for wanting to remain behind the scenes. Some people love the spotlight, and others love to help make the spotlight happen. She’s also got two adorable kiddos to raise, so keeping herself out of the limelight also keeps her children more protected.
While Kylie might not love being in the spotlight, it does not seem to affect Travis. Donna Kelce even told Good Morning America that “he likes attention” and:
“As long as he can handle it, I don’t have any problems with it.”
Given the amount of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce compilations that pop up on my TikTok ‘For You’ page daily, I’d say everything looks peachy from an outsider’s perspective, and Swifties are over the moon.
