Garth Brooks Tears Up (Shocker) Talking About Ms. Yearwood: “I Found Her The Past Life, I’ll Find Her In The Next”

The Kelly Clarkson Show

Garth Brooks. One of the most famous country singers on the planet, big family man, and possible serial killer… ok, that last part is just a joke… allegedly…

Garth is honestly one of the most unique individuals in all of country music, and he also appears to be one of the most sensitive people too. Seriously, if I got a dollar for every time Brooks started crying on camera, I’d have more money than Garth Brooks, himself.

With that being said, the man had the waterworks going again recently while making an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show. Now I’ll give the guy some credit, he had a pretty good one liner at the beginning of this conversation, calling his guitar his “gut hider.” I mean c’mon, that’s a top notch dad joke right there.

However, once he started talking about his wife, fellow country singer Trisha Yearwood, that’s when the ol’ tears broke out.

He told Clarkson:

“When you’re married to one of the greatest cooks on the planet… My thing is this, and you guys might feel the same way. When it comes to the future, I think what you’re grateful is just one more day of getting to do this.

Truthfully what I’d love to say is the day I take my last breath on this planet, I’d love my three girls to be around me, and I’d love for the queen to be around me, but as far as Ms. Yearwood, I don’t know. I’ve said this before, I found her in the past life I’ll find her in the next.”

You can always count on ol’ Garth to get emotional.
