Hixtape #3 coming soon.
It was announced earlier this month that HARDY, Post Malone and Morgan Wallen would be teaming up at the CMA Awards for a special tribute to country classics. Ahead of tonight’s awards, HARDY teased a big announcement coming during the show:
“There is a plan, and I cannot talk about it yet, but it will all make sense after the awards.
I can’t get too much into why we’re doing it, but it’ll all make sense in that moment and after the awards because we have a big announcement coming.”
Well now we know what it is.
As Luke Bryan was introducing the performance alongside Parker Diffie, son of the late great Joe Diffie, it was announced that a third edition of HARDY’s popular Hixtape series is on the way, featuring both Wallen and Post Malone.
And this one’s a tribute to the Pickup Man himself, Joe Diffie.
“John Deere Green” and “Pickup Man,” the two songs that the trio performed during the awards, are out now, the first two singles from Hixtape Volume 3: Difftape.
The album may also feature Brad Paisley, Luke Combs and Ernest, who have all been pictured with Post Malone in the studio in recent days.

Guess we’ll just have to wait and see what else is coming on Hixtape 3…but it seems like we’re finally gonna be getting some country Post Malone out of the studio.
