Is Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs supposed to say this?

The NFL used to keep the game of football and the betting on the game of football separate, but in the past decade, they’ve slowly bled into one another and are now synchronous. Now the broadcasts are talking about point spreads and moneylines right before the game begins, so the sports betting world has now officially infiltrated sports.

However, one line that is still drawn by professional leagues is that athletes cannot bet on their own league, and especially their own team or themselves. That’s actually become a rather large storyline in the NFL, where multiple players have been suspended for placing bets on themselves or their teams. The integrity of the game is still of the utmost importance, even though pro sports love to stuff their fat pockets with some extra gambling revenue…

And with all of that being said, its no secret that the players in the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, and whatever other sports league you want to include know that they are being bet on, or being cheered for or against for fantasy sports purposes.

And for the most part, 99.9% of players will outright say, “I don’t give a flying f*ck about your fantasy team,” or something of that nature. But not the people’s champ, Stefon Diggs. He’s out here doing the Lord’s work.

Stefon Diggs, a star wide receiver for the Bills, decided to be honest on his X account this past week, saying:

“I ain’t going lie. I do be feeling a lil bad when I f**k up y’alls parlay… or fantasy.

“But trust me, it ain’t cause I ain’t trying make that motherf***er hit for ya…”

Hey, thanks for being honest Stefon, because you did, in fact, cause me to lose one of my fantasy football matchups this past week. No hard feelings from me though, just make up for it next week…

Fans were loving the fact that Diggs got honest about the sports betting and fantasy sports world, and sent their support in his replies:
