Doing a little elk hunting out in “Small Town USA.”
Justin Moore spent some time hunting out in Colorado recently, along with some friends and his manager Cody Villalobos and tour manager (and podcast co-host) JR the Handler.
And it looks like the hunt was quite the success.
Justin took to Instagram to share some photos from the hunt – along with one of the massive elk that he bagged out in the mountains:
“Great time with 2 of my best friends and some new friends this week in the outdoors. So thankful for the fellowship, the opportunity to harvest a great animal, and see some beautiful countryside God created. My legs will be sore for the next month from all the hiking, but so worth it!”
I’d say that (unlike Ben Roethlisberger) Justin can even skin a buck…and bait a hook.
Justin’s been busy out on the road this summer, so I’m sure he appreciated having some time to enjoy nature for awhile. But he’s not going to have much time to unwind: Justin’s going to be hitting the road early next year with Cody Johnson for The Leather Tour along with Dillon Carmichael and Chris Janson.
But before that, Justin has new music on the way this year, dropping next month on the heels of his latest album Stray Dog, which was released in May.
