When it comes to some of the movies I’m looking most forward to this winter, this new Napoleon film is at the top of the list.
We all learned about the ruthless French commander during the French Revolution, Napoleon Bonaparte, in school growing up, and as a huge fan of history myself, I can’t way to see his life documented in movie form.
The film is directed by Ridley Scott, and on top of that, he has one heck of a lineup to go along with it, starring the likes of Joaquin Phoenix as Napoleon, Vanessa Kirby as Empress Joséphine, Tahar Rahim as Paul Barras, and many more.
Here’s a little rundown of the movie:
“‘Napoleon’ is an original and personal look at Napoleon’s origins and his swift, ruthless climb to emperor, viewed through the prism of his addictive and often volatile relationship with his wife and one true love, Joséphine.
The film captures Napoleon’s famous battles, relentless ambition and astounding strategic mind as an extraordinary military leader and war visionary.”
The initial trailer dropped back in July, setting the expectations pretty high for when this one drops in theaters.
And since the initial trailer, we now know that the movie will be hitting theaters on Wednesday, November 22nd, and will later be found on AppleTV+. With that being said, we now have an official trailer as we get closer and closer to the movie’s premiere date.
Man, this is gonna be a great one.
