Well, that’s one way to get your message out there.

Before last year’s Super Bowl, we got wind that a man by the name of Maison DesChamps, AKA “The Pro-Life Spiderman”, free climbed the Chase Building in downtown Phoenix while a massive crowd of fans watched from below.

Well, he’s at it again, this time in Chicago.

According to his Instagram bio, he climbs skyscrapers to raise money for women in crisis pregnancies. This video was posted to his page right as he began the climb up the Accenture Tower, and explains the situation of the specific mother they are doing this to raise money for.

While a lot can be said about the way he goes about raising awareness for his cause, it’s undeniably extremely impressive that he’s able to climb up these skyscrapers with nothing more than hands, feet, and chalk.

This climb has a bit of added backstory as well, because Conservative Dad Ultra Right Beer, a company founded in the wake of the Bud Light controversy, sponsored the climb.

Mason even stopped halfway up the building to crack open a can and take a swig.

A few videos were posted online from onlookers and my goodness my hands are sweating just imagining being up there. The view from inside the building shows close up just how small all of the hand and foot holds are for the guy.

According to Block Club Chicago, Mason made it to the top of the building and was taken into custody.

I’m all for people making a statement, but this obviously puts first responders at risk. They have to be called in and must do what they can to rescue him, even if he doesn’t want the help, but it undoubtedly puts them in a position they’re not overly trained for.

Thankfully, everyone was okay and it all ended safely, but man that is pretty harrowing.
