Dad In A Stars & Stripes Shirt Hangs From The Backstop To Be “The Flag” For Little League National Anthem

This is a new level of creativity.

A little league game was in a tough spot when they were left without an American flag on the field. While many Little League officials might call it a day without singing the national anthem and get on with the game, that was not the case for this team.

Rather than letting the kids get on with the game, a dad from the crowd had a perfect solution.

As he was suited up in his best red, white, and blue button-down, he figured he might as well serve as the American flag to kick off the game the right way.

Rather than maybe hanging his shirt up on the fence for players to turn towards, this man decided that scaling the fence was a far better option.

The off-key singing from the field really adds a cherry on top of the cake for the comedy of this video.

God bless America and this man…

“The singing in different keys and cadences is what really ties it all together.”

“It’s giving ‘The Office.'”

“Sir, you sacrificed your fingers for us because I KNOW those knuckles were burnin’!”

“Ask not what your country can do for you. But what you can do for your country!”

“I’ve had a horrible day & this is the first thing to make me laugh.”

“I’ve never heard this key before. This is new music, people.”
