New music is less than a month away.

Ella Langley blew up quickly when she teamed up with Koe Wetzel for her killer single “That’s Why We Fight,” the lead single on her incredible debut EP Excuse The Mess

Fans quickly took to the sound she displayed with her rock and roll persona but thoughtful and heavy-hitting lyrics.

Her music speaks to her style perfectly, and she’s recently been getting even more attention being out on tour with heavy hitters like Jon Pardi. And most recently, Riley Green announced that Ella would be hitting the road with him for his upcoming tour, taking her music to even bigger audiences.

Langley is a gifted performer and a songwriter, making her so fun to watch.

Last night, before she took the stage at the Grand Ole Opry, we had a chance to sit down with Ella, where she shared some exciting news with Whiskey Riff.

Ella announced that she will release her next single, “Paint The Town Blue,” on October 13th.

“I’m really excited because October 13th…Friday the 13th, my brand new single, “Paint The Town Blue,” is coming out.

Another little heartbreak song, but you know you can’t have enough.”

Given that every track on Excuse The Mess is still constantly in my playlist rotation, I can bet we are guaranteed another rockin’ track with this one.

Prior to the release of Excuse The Mess, Langley told fans that every aspect of her artistry is highlighted through the project.

“Every aspect of me as an artist is portrayed in the EP. You get the storyteller side, the rock side, and the fun side. My music has something for everybody.

I hope you dance, cry, and listen to it over and over again. The only plan is to keep going. Pedal down. All gas, no brakes.”

Her sureness of her sound is one reason fans like myself are drawn to her. She is not afraid to stick to her guns, which works for her.

If you haven’t already, check out a few favorites from her discography before the release of “Paint The Town Blue.”
