Someone come and get their grandpa…
Good luck trying to tell this guy that summer is coming to a close. I haven’t heard anyone use the acronym YOLO in a while, but I think this video is the perfect time to bring it back (if it ever left).
Gramps is living his best life and seems to be taking Tim McGraw’s song “Live Like You Were Dying” to heart. As this older man jumps off cliffs and anything else he possibly can, there is no fear whatsoever, and he’s certainly making the best of his time on planet Earth.
He really has no regard for safety as he runs and jumps five stories down into the water. But he doesn’t stop there, because later on he climbs up a tree hanging over the drop off, and waves an American flag right before jumping off into the water again.
The only way that this makes sense is that he’s some sort of aged super hero, like how Captain America looked at the end of Avengers: Endgame. There’s no way that is just your run-of-the-mill old codger.
One of my favorite quotes of all time is “you don’t stop playing because you grow old, you grow old because you stop playing.” While everyone else is transitioning into walkers and scooters, this old guy is too busy flying through the air, climbing trees, and doing cannon balls.

This grandpa has certainly earned the respect from Instagram users that came across his fearless, cliff-jumping antics. The comment section was almost as wild as the old man himself, with replies from social media savants saying:
“Bro is still in his prime.”
“Man has been full sending it since the 1940s. Respect.”
“Who let grandpa jump off a cliff?? There’s no way he landed without breaking something.”
“He has nothing to lose.”
“Telling my kids this was Tarzan.”
