When it comes to the GOAT of chicken sandwiches, Chick-Fil-A is always on the top of the list.
I don’t know what it is about it, but from the quality of the chicken and the waffle fries, it’s perfection in chicken sandwich meal form.
With that being said, it appears the fast food chain is expanding its menu a bit…
According to USA Today, Chick-Fil-A will start serving their latest chicken sandwich, the Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich, on Monday, August 28th. This marks the first new sandwich from the popular chicken chain in nearly a decade.
On top of that, they’ll be adding the Caramel Crumble Milkshake.
Unfortunately, the items will only be available for a limited time, so take it while ya can.
Now if you know a thing or two about the southeast, then you know how much we love our pimento cheese. Throw in a little bit of honey on there too along with a chicken filet and you have perfection in sandwich form.
The Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich will feature custom-made creamy pimento cheese, mild pickled jalapenos, and will be served on a warm, toasted bun and doused in sweet honey.
Stuart Tracy, a Chick-Fil-A chef and the creator of this new item, shared in a statement:
“We wanted to create a standout sandwich that would deliver a unique spin for our guests, without losing the classic taste of the Original Chick-Fil-A Sandwich.
The Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich uses ingredients and flavors our guests have never experienced at Chick-Fil-A before, balancing savory, sweet, and spicy elements using the highest quality ingredients.”
And on top of that, the Caramel Crumble Milkshake sounds immaculate as well.
Leslie Neslage, director of menu and packaging at Chick-Fil-A, discussed the new milkshake:
“Combining new and surprising ingredients with classic Chick-Fil-A flavors, we hope both these new menu items will deliver a delicious new spin for our guests to enjoy.”
