“He’s in a Chevy and I’m in love…”

I don’t think I’ve been able to get Hailey Whitters’ new single “I’m In Love” out of my head for the past several days, and I mean that in the best way possible.

Part of her just-announced I’m In Love EP, which is slated to drop on July 28th, the title track is such an earworm and a great way to kickoff the new project.

Written by Nicolle Galyon, Lee Miller and Cameron Bedell, Hailey says it’s one of those songs she wished she’d written, adding that she loves the “quirky language and spirit” as much as I do:

“I knew the minute I heard this song I had to record it.

I didn’t write it (Nicolle Galyon, Lee Miller, & Cameron Bedell did), but I wish I had. I love – pun intended – the quirky language and spirit.

Every time I sing it I’m smiling like a big ol sap because it just makes me so happy and puts me in a good mood.”

Like I said before, when it comes time to pick a new single for country radio, I can easily see this one becoming another fan-favorite, because it’s just so dang cute, super catchy, and very uniquely Hailey with a little bit of 90’s flair in the production.

And she just dropped the new music video today, which features her seeing hearts everywhere and dancing around without a care in the world because she’s so in love with her Chevy-driving man.

It has that signature Hailey look in terms of the super pretty, girly and vintage flair that I absolutely love, and is a really cute visual to go along with the song.

“Obsessed” is the first word that comes to mind here…
