What’s your excuse for not being one of the best cornhole players in the world?

Dayton Webber is a quadruple amputee, but that doesn’t stop him from being an absolute “bags” legend. The man has been defying the odds ever since he was a kid, and him turning pro in 2021 was just another impressive feat for Webber.

As a 10-month-old, the Baltimore native was given just a 3% chance of survival after being diagnosed with streptococcus pneumonia, a debilitating and life threatening bacterial infection. The family’s only way to stop the disease from spreading throughout his entire body was to amputate both of his legs and his arms.

The horrible and tragic beginning to Webber’s life on Earth has now turned into one of inspiration and glory.

He never let his physical setbacks keep him from doing what he loved, and that drive led him to becoming the American Cornhole League’s first quadruple amputee in the association’s history.

A recent impressive showing by Webber has had the bags player circulating on social media. In the dog days of summer, sports networks like ESPN usually have to diversify their programming (because there’s not much on but baseball), which led to the ACL broadcasting one of their competitions.

Webber was matching up against another professional cornhole player, and to be frank, he was beating the ever-living daylights out of his opponent. In the clip below, Webber gets four out of four bags into the board’s hole, and if you’ve ever played the backyard lawn game, you know that’s a tall task to accomplish.

Webber did it with ease and with the upmost confidence, and I’ve got to say, I think I’ve now found my favorite professional cornhole player. The video’s caption states:

“No hands? No legs? NO PROBLEM.”

Twitter users could barely believe their eyes as they watched the footage of Webber absolutely dominating, and voiced what an inspiration he is in the comments:

Also, did you notice I went back and forth in the article saying “cornhole” and “bags?”

I know that the proper name of the game can often be a heated debate, so I thought I would be inclusive of both to not ruffle any feathers…
