Does it feel like it’s been awhile since we’ve had a good airplane meltdown video?
It seems like back during COVID we were getting at least one video a week of people losing their damn minds on an airplane, with flight attendants duct-taping people to seats, passengers throwing haymakers in the aisles, and just general chaos up in the friendly skies.
But all that seems to have settled down now. Or maybe it’s just so common that the videos don’t even go viral anymore. Who knows.
Well we’ve finally got another good one, this time courtesy of an American Airlines flight out of Dallas.
The footage shared on TikTok shows a woman screaming as she makes her way down the aisle towards the front of the plane, demanding to be let off as the plane presumably sits at the gate.
“You can say whatever you want, I’m telling you I’m getting the f*ck off, and there’s a reason why I’m getting the f*ck off.”
So what was the reason she wanted off the plane?
Well apparently she doesn’t believe that one of her fellow passengers is…real?
“Everyone can either believe it or they can not believe it. I don’t give two f*cks. But I am telling you right now, that motherf*cker back there is not real.
And you can sit on this plane and you can f*cking die with them or not. I’m not going to.”
And with that, she made her exit from the aircraft.

Honestly though, the best part of the video may be the guy just saying “bye” as she finishes up her warning speech. Or the fact that the entire plane turned around as she pointed out that “motherf*cker” who’s not real. Seems like they at least thought there was a chance she was telling the truth…
Incredibly, the person who posted the video to TikTok says that while the incident delayed the flight for three hours, the woman wasn’t arrested and was eventually let back through security after causing everybody onboard to have to deplane.
But while something was obviously going on with the woman, many in the comments section and on Twitter were saying that they probably would have followed her out the door after witnessing that:
“Nope. I’ve seen Final Destination too many times. I’m getting off that plane”

Many people were also comparing it to the scene in the movie Bridesmaids where Kristen Wiig’s character mixes alcohol and pills and ends up freaking out after she thinks she sees a colonial woman churning butter on the wing of the airplane.
Oh, and to make the story even more bizarre: Apparently comedian Carrot Top was also on the plane. Because of course he was.
Maybe he was the one that she thought was fake? He’s kind of a wild looking dude…
