Fingers crossed this is gonna happen.
Two of the coolest bands to rise out of the Texas scene over the past few years are Giovannie and The Hired Guns and Pecos & the Rooftops.
Both keep the independent spirit alive despite signing major record deals and toe that cool line between rock and country. Through hard touring schedules, they’ve gone on to pick up tons of fans that I know would be chomping at the bit if a collaboration is in the works…
A Twitter user named Jesse floated a 1AM statement just saying that a collab between the two would be *fire emoji*
I’ve fired off my share of late night tweets back in the day, for the most part nothing happens, but fortunately for Jesse (and us all) Gio picked up on it and floated a question to Pecos to see if he’s interested, saying he already had a song in mind. And right on cue, Pecos answered telling him to shoot it over.
I’m with pretty much everyone out there in hoping they follow through on this…
