There’s nothin’ I love more than a good acoustic video from Riley Green.

Yesterday, he shared a stripped back video of an unreleased song called “Ain’t Like I Can Hide It,” which was inspired by a pretty funny (for lack of a better word) story from when he went on his first radio tour many years ago.

He says that someone told him he shouldn’t talk about hunting so much when he hit the West Coast leg of the tour, because it “wasn’t as popular” out there and people wouldn’t like hearing about it on the radio.

And if you know anything about Riley, then you certainly know that he’s an avid outdoorsman and hunter, so him dialing any of that passion back was pretty much out of the question.

Riley added that his response that poor advice was this song, which I just love, as he admits that pretty much everything about him is “what you see is what you get,” and he’s not gonna hide it or change it for anyone:

“I remember first going on radio tour and someone told me not to talk about hunting so much when I got out to the west coast because it wasn’t as popular there…

My response was this song… ‘Ain’t Like I Can Hide It’ hope y’all dig it.”

You can check it out on our Instagram page, along with tons more awesome videos from some of your other favorite artists and watch it here too:

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, when the time comes for Riley to finally release his sophomore studio album, I hope he includes this song and several other unreleased tunes that have already become fan-favorites, like “Mississippi or Me” and “Known Any Better.”

Riley is currently out on the road with Luke Combs opening for him on the American leg of his 2023 world tour, and recently dropped two brand new singles, “Raised Up Right” and “God Made A Good Ol’ Boy.”

He also dropped a reimagined version of the title track to his aforementioned 2019 debut studio album, “Different ‘Round Here,” which features his buddy Luke and is his current single at country radio:
