A modern day renaissance man.
Elon Musk is no strange to doing some flat out cool things.
He’s launching rockets into space, changing the automobile market with killer electric cars, bought Twitter seemingly just for the hell of it, smoked weed with Joe Rogan, offered to fight Vladimir Putin… I mean I could go on but there would be no end.
Well, turns out he still has time to do what we all love to do on a Friday night; drink whiskey and sing Johnny Cash around a campfire.
In a video from 2017, we can see Elon and a few Tesla team members having themselves a good old time on the roof of one of Tesla’s gigafactories, standing around a fire, roasting marshmallows, putting down some whiskey, and jamming out to “Ring Of Fire”.
Don’t even bother telling me you wouldn’t want to party with Elon, the guy seems like a good time.
Just don’t get too drunk, or he may convince you to be the first person to put a chip in your head and interface with AI in a whole new way…
Regardless, anyone who gets down with the Man In Black is solid in my book.
Elon Musk And His Brother Kimbal… The Next Duo In Country Music?
Elon Musk seems to have his hand in everything these days.
The man is a little busy these days, and he recently admitted he doesn’t even own a house right now. One of the richest men on the planet sleeps in friends guest rooms whenever he’s in any given town, which sounds pretty insane, but it’s true.
And ya know, since he has so much free time and seems to always be on the lookout for a new venture, maybe it’s time we get him on the stage to sing a little country music.
Back at a special session for SXSW in 2018, Elon and his brother, Kimbal Musk, treated the audience to a rendition of Randy Newman’s “My Little Buttercup” that was famously featured in the 1986 film Three Amigos!
Both donning cowboy hats, Kimbal strummed an acoustic guitar and sang on lead vocals, while Elon did some sort of bizarre dance and helped out on some backing vocals.
And y’all know we’re always on the lookout for the next big thing in country music here at Whiskey Riff, but who knew such a talented act might’ve been right in front of us this whole time:
Conway Twitter, Elon Jackson, Musk-adine Bloodline, Way-Elon Jennings, Yeelon Musk, Elonny Cash… even the name options are endless for the Musk Brothers.
Look out Brothers Osborne…
