Which Country Artists Have Released The Most Songs So Far This Decade?

Morgan Wallen Charley Crockett Zach Bryan

An insane musical output for some of these artists.

In the streaming era, long albums are all the rage. While there was a time when 12 songs were recognized as the gold standard (and still is in many ways), the incentive to pack as many songs as possible into a record to get as many streams as you can has changed the way albums are approached, produced and packaged.

Though this has been a phenomenon across all of music, country in particular has seen an increase in sprawling, 20-to-nearly-40-song records over the past five or so years. While double albums have been a concept for decades, there’s no doubt that Morgan Wallen’s 2021 record, Dangerous: The Double Album, which clocks in at 30 songs, kick-started this trend in the genre.

Since the release of Dangerous, Wallen has continued to go bigger with each subsequent release. Increasing the tracklist on his last two albums, 2023’s One Thing At A Time ballooned to 36 songs, while 2025’s I’m The Problem clocked in at an even larger 37.

It’s not just Wallen that’s continuing to drop lengthy albums, however. Zach Bryan has also been notorious for being incredibly heavy-handed with each record. Most notably, his 2022 major-label debut, American Heartbreak, clocked in at 34 songs. Though he lessened the output with 2023’s self-titled release and 2024’s The Great American Bar Scene, his most recent album, With Heaven On Top, saw another long tracklist, coming in at 25 songs.

With Bryan and Wallen rising to the top of the genre with so many releases over the years, it got me thinking, “Which country artists have been releasing the most music throughout the decade so far?”

Unsurprisingly, both the aforementioned artists land inside the Top 5, dropping well over 100 songs on full-length albums and EPs. With that being said, however, there are quite a few surprises here with legends such as Willie Nelson, Reba and Dolly Parton also making appearances on the list.

Also making appearances here are the likes of alternative country stars such as Charley Crockett, Muscadine Bloodline and Colby Acuff, all of whom are averaging at least a full-length album a year this decade (with Crockett averaging two full albums a year).

For the sake of simplicity, the songs included on each artist’s totals will only include tracks released on full projects, such as an album or EP. What this means is some major songs from artists, such as Bryan’s “Burn, Burn, Burn” and “Dawns,” will be left off of his full song count. While some may argue that it doesn’t encompass an artist’s total work, it’s simply an attempt to streamline the process and make the list easier to digest. Of course, this is due to the fact that some artists, such as the late, great Dolly Parton, had an incredible amount of one-off singles and collaborations that didn’t receive inclusions on full projects.

Additionally, live albums will not count towards an officially released song, given the fact that a majority of tracks present (outside of a few outliers) already have official studio versions/releases. Finally, re-releases will not count towards an artist’s total songs, meaning any “Greatest Hits” albums or “reimagining” versions of past songs will not be featured.

Also, forgive me if I missed anybody… this kind of topic is quite difficult to research, but without further ado, here are the artists with the most releases of the decade so far:

1. Charley Crockett

Without question, Charley Crockett is the king of this list. In the past six years, he’s released a staggering 12 albums. This includes double LP releases every year but one this decade in 2026, 2025, 2024, 2022, 2021 and 2020.

He’s added to his genre-leading count of 171 songs in a huge way the past few years in particular, dropping a mind-blowing six full-length records since April 2024 — an average of a new album every five months.

  • Total Songs Released: 171
  • Total Projects: 12 — 12 Albums

2. Zach Bryan

One thing that’s become incredibly clear throughout the years, beyond the obvious quality of the songwriting, is just how rapid Zach Bryan’s releases truly are. Since his debut in August 2019, the “Something in the Orange” singer has released a staggering six albums, three EPs and over a dozen non-album singles, totaling up to 159 songs (161 if you count features on Kings of Leon’s “We’re Onto Something” and Jack Van Cleaf’s “Rattlesnake” rerelease) in just over seven years. Diving into the numbers, he’s averaging an incredible 23 tracks per year.

Given Bryan’s penchant for releasing non-album singles such as hits like “Burn, Burn, Burn” and “Dawns,” among others, his album/EP releases total to a still-staggering 134 tracks.

  • Total Songs Released: 134
  • Total Projects: 9 — 6 Albums, 3 EPs

3. Willie Nelson

Though he’s currently 93 years old, age is nothing but a number for the legendary Willie Nelson. In what seems like a completely unfathomable number for any artist — let alone one who has been in his 90s for a majority of the decade — Willie has released a staggering 126 tracks in the 2020s across 11 full-length albums.

A simply unreal output from one of the greatest artists in country music history.

  • Total Songs Released: 126
  • Total Projects: 11 — 11 Albums

4. Morgan Wallen

As previously mentioned, Wallen has been on an absolute tear when it comes to album releases over the decade. Even ignoring all the records broken with the albums, his output has been nothing short of trend-setting. In just a four-year stretch, the “Whiskey Glasses” singer released three 30+ song LPs, totaling 103 tracks in total.

Though he outright denounced the project, the 2024 re-release and addition to his 2015 EP, Stand Alone, also added to his overall total this decade, bumping his output to 116 tracks this decade so far.

  • Total Songs Released: 116
  • Total Projects: 4 — 3 Albums, 1 EP

5. Muscadine Bloodline

The duo, comprised of Charlie Muncaster and Gary Stanton, has been on an absolute tear as of late. Since 2020, they’ve dropped a staggering 11 separate projects, including seven studio albums, five EPs and a plethora of non-album singles.

Not counting the plethora of re-releases and one-off singles, Muscadine’s total over the decade comes out to a staggering 112 songs so far. This does include 2025’s The Sound of Roses. And while it’s a borderline entry on the list, given the fact it’s technically a re-release of eight tracks (and an additional eight instrumental versions), each song present on the project is radically different — warranting the inclusion, in my opinion.

  • Total Songs Released: 112
  • Total Projects: 12 — 7 Albums, 5 EPs

7. Reba McEntire

Arguably the most surprising entry on the list, Reba has been on a quiet tear as of late from a release perspective. Though she hasn’t technically released a true new album in the decade, only releasing an acoustic version of her biggest hits on 2023’s Not That Fancy, along with a gospel and Christmas album, she has given fans EPs at an incredible rate as of late.

In 2026 alone, the “Fancy” singer released not one but SIX different EPs, ranging from five to six songs, that are filled with older, unreleased tracks from her vault. Because of all the new EPs this year, Reba’s song count this decade ballooned to a staggering 86.

  • Total Songs Released: 86
  • Total Projects: 12 — 3 Albums, 9 EPs

7. Colby Acuff

In an industry that truly never rests, Colby Acuff has proven time and time again that he’s not only one of the most talented songwriters flying out of the independent scene today but also one of the most proficient. Since his debut in 2020 with Life of a Rolling Stone, the “If I Were the Devil” singer has proceeded to drop an album each and every year since then. Despite the incredibly high volume of musical output, much like his contemporaries, Bryan and Crockett, it seems as if the Idaho native has simply gotten better with every release.

Because of the one record per year strategy, Acuff has released 85 total tracks across seven studio albums this decade.

  • Total Songs Released: 85
  • Total Projects: 7 — 7 Albums

8. Dolly Parton

The late, great Dolly Parton has a pretty fascinating list of releases in the final years of her life. Not counting the truly impressive amount of collaborative singles, which include teaming up with Zac Brown Band, Pitbull, Jimmy Fallon and even The Wiggles, the “Jolene” singer still managed to release an impressive 84 songs across four albums and one short, 3-track posthumous EP recently.

Of course, a majority of the total came from the deluxe edition of 2023’s Rockstar, which extended the album’s tracklist to 39 songs. With that being said, however, it’s still truly impressive that Parton released so much music in the final years of her incredible life.

  • Total Songs Released: 84
  • Total Projects: 5 — 4 Albums, 1 EP

9. ERNEST

Though he might be best-known for co-writing some of Morgan Wallen’s biggest hits, such as “You Proof,” “Wasted On You,” “Heartless,” “I’m The Problem,” Post Malone’s “I Had Some Help” and many more, ERNEST has been on an absolute tear independently this decade.

Thanks to the incredibly lengthy, 26-track showing on NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE in 2024 and doubling up with Cadillac Sessions and Live From The South in 2025, ERNEST has released a hefty 84 songs since 2020 across five albums and one EP.

  • Total Songs Released: 84
  • Total Projects: 6 — 5 Albums, 1 EP

10. Russell Dickerson

  • Total Songs Released: 81
  • Total Projects: 8 — 4 Albums, 4 EPs

An undoubtedly unexpected artist on this list, it’s pretty clear that Russell Dickerson has chosen the quantity over quality approach to releasing music over the decade. The pop country star has somehow managed to release 81 songs across four albums and four EPs in the 2020s so far.

That’s about 81 songs too many if you ask me…
