Wynonna Judd Debuts Hopeful New Unreleased Song, “Other Side”

Wynonna Judd country music

Wynonna Judd is back with more new music.

Her mother, and other half of iconic The Judd’s duo, Naomi Judd, tragically passed away back in April, and it has understandably a very traumatic and horrific time for both of Naomi’s daughters.

Wynonna made the decision to carry on with what was supposed to be The Judd’s farewell tour, and recently, she even debuted a brand new song called “Other Side.”

She noted that she just cut it in the studio, and it will be a duet with Waxahatchee frontwoman Katie Crutchfield:

“This is my first time singing this song in public.

Just recorded it with Waxahatchee, my soul sister in song, Katie Crutchfield, and I just did a duet together.”

In the lyrics, she sings about hope and trying to make it to the other side:

“Cast a shadow, dark and cold,
If we move our way against the tide,
There’s something on the other side,
The other side.”

Amen to that Wynonna…

It’s damn good to have this woman making music again.

I can’t wait to hear the final duet version, I already love this one:
