Tyler Childers Performs Impressive Rendition Of “Honky Tonk Flame” For Healing Appalachia

Tyler Childers country music

I could watch these Tyler Childers “Healing Appalachia” videos all day long.

Back in May, Childers performed at the An Evening With Healing Appalachia virtual benefit concert to raise money and awareness for the opioid crisis that has plagued Appalachia for years now.

Throughout the concert, he put together some jaw dropping performances of “Nose on the Grindstone,” his new song “Rustin’ In The Rain,” S.G. Goodman’s “Space & Time,” and more.

He also acknowledged that he’s been enjoying his time away from the road, hanging out and writing new music, as he’s performed a number of new songs at his latest concerts, like one that may be called “Luke,” “Phone Calls & Emails,” and “Percheron Mules”

And if you missed it, don’t worry, because he has a whole live in person concert for Healing Appalachia coming this fall.

However, the guy continues to bless us with these videos from the virtual benefit concert, and his latest edition is a picture perfect rendition of his song “Honky Tonk Flame,” off his 2017 Purgatory album.

We all love a good ol’ fiddle driven honky tonker, and when you match that with the incredibly vivid storytelling from Childers, you know you have something special on your hands.
