Ready to rock.

As part of her new Apple Music Sessions EP, Carrie Underwood releases a cover of Ozzy Osbourne’s, “Mama, I’m Coming Home” and her chops on the song definitely do Osbourne proud.

Originally released in 1991, “Mama, I’m Coming Home” was the second single from the band’s No More Fears album, the same album that also featured  the Grammy-winning track “I Don’t Want to Change the World.”

Staying mostly in sync with the original version while adding her own spin on the vocal progression, Underwood impresses with the cover.

For older fans, this is a reminder of her 2009 cover of Motley Crue’s “Home Sweet Home,” where Underwood also shared her rock-n-roll roots.

With her recent awards in the Gospel genre, her to-be-continued Vegas residency, her country music tour featuring the Denim and Rhinestones album, and now a successful rendition of an Osbourne classic, Underwood continues to prove her talent knows no bounds.

“My Apple Music Sessions Live EP bundle is out now! Check out my live cover of one of my all-time favorite songs Ozzy Osbourne’s “Mama, I’m Coming Home” and more.”

Carrie also recently joined Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose on stage in London, and then brought out Axl during her headlining set at Stagecoach.
