I like rockin’ Carrie Underwood

She’s across the pond right now promoting her new album, Denim & Rhinestones, and surprised unsuspecting fans at a Guns N’ Roses concert in London, England at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Friday night to sing with them.

Just last month at Stagecoach, she brought out frontman Axl Rose for a performance of “Sweet Child Of Mine” and “Paradise City” during her headlining set.

And they gave a rousing rendition of those same songs again last night, but this time, Carrie joined the entire band, and shared a little bit about what it meant to her to take the stage with some of her heroes afterwards:

“Together again…but this time in London and with a few more friends! Thanks, @gunsnroses and your crew for welcoming me into your world like family.

And thanks to all the fans who gave these legends the royal welcome that they deserve!

I am but a fan who somehow managed to find her way on stage to have a moment of magic with her heroes! How did I get so lucky?”

Written by Axl himself, “Sweet Child Of Mine” was featured on their debut album Appetite For Destruction, and released as the third single in 1988. Guns N’ Roses followed it up with the release of “Paradise City” in 1989.

They also gave her a sweet pair of in-ear monitors to commemorate the occasion:
