Look at Kolby Cooper bringin’ the heat again…

The 22-year-old quick rising country star had himself a huge 2021, signing with major label BBR Music Group, and dropping his first EP with the label, Boy From Anderson County.

Touring his ass off, racking up monster streams, packing venues and opening up for superstar acts like Koe Wetzel, from the ground up, Kolby Cooper has built himself a rabid fanbase far beyond the Lone Star State.

And now, he’s back with a brand new single titled “Breaking News,” and we’re here to give you an exclusive first look at the new lyric video.

The song is about that all too familiar scenario where an ex calls it quits with you, but then can’t stand to see you with someone else.

Cooper himself broke it down for us:

“This song is all about toxic exes, and I’m really excited to share this song with people who will relate.

I want to show people that almost everyone has the same story of the toxic ex who can’t picture you with someone better and doesn’t want you until someone else does.”

You can always count on Kolby Cooper come with a sense of relatability in all of his songs. He just has an uncanny ability to make you say, “yup, I been there,” and “Breaking News” is no different.

So go ahead and give it a listen, and then call your ex and tell ’em to fuck off…

You won’t regret it…
