Miranda Lambert Skips Grammys (Despite Two Nominations), Makes Surprise Appearance At Her Nashville Bar, Casa Rosa

Miranda Lambert country music

Miranda Lambert was noticeably absent from the Grammy Awards last night.

Mainly, her presence was missed because she wasn’t there with her Marfa Tapes trio counterparts Jon Randall and Jack Ingram, as they were nominated for Best Country Album (which Chris Stapleton ultimately took home for Starting Over).

Miranda was also nominated for Best Country Duo/Group Performance with Elle King for “Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home),” which ultimately went to Brothers Osborne for “Younger Me”.

And while she was unable to make the show in Las Vegas this year (the home of her upcoming residency), she did make it out to her bar in Nashville, Casa Rosa, to play her Grammy-nominated song “Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home)” for unsuspecting fans, which was pretty badass of her to do on such a big night in her career:

Miranda is also gearing up to release her 8th solo studio album, Palomino, at the end of this month on April 29th.
