Well, can’t say I’ve never seen this strategy when it comes to competitive running.
A video has gone viral of a Florida track athlete sucker punching a runner, and taking off.
There isn’t much information on what led up to the incident, but bystanders say that the dude who threw the punch was standing in the middle of the track even though he wasn’t in the mile race, and the victim pushed him out of the way the first lap around.
It appears it was enough to piss the guy off so much, to absolutely molly wop the guy when he came back around.
Props to the runner though, because apparently he got back up and finished the race, according to Canada Running Magazine.
Needless to say, the fans in the stands were left in shock, as you can even hear one guy scream out:
“What the fuck was that?”
