Charley Crockett Makes CBS ‘Saturday Sessions’ Debut With Performance Of “I Need Your Love” & More

Charley Crockett quietly had a massive 2021, dropping two albums, 10 For Slim: Charley Crockett Sings James Hand, and Music City USA

With that being said, the boot-stompin’ gulf and western swing icon is finally getting some much deserved national attention, as he won “Emerging Act of the Year” at the 2021 Americana Honors & Awards, and made Austin City Limits debut only a month later.

And to add to the swift rise in notoriety, he made his second national TV appearance this past weekend, as he made his debut on CBS Saturday Morning “Saturday Sessions.”

Crocket, along with his band the Blue Drifters, took the stage at the iconic Gruene Hall in New Braunfels, Texas to play three songs for the whole United States.

He performed two songs from his Music City USA album, and did quite the rendition of Jerry Reed’s “I Feel For You.”

It looks like the man ain’t slowing down anytime soon, as he’s already announced his 2022 “Jukebox Charley” Spring Tour.
