When it comes to Texas country music/Red Dirt powerhouses, Pat Green is up there with the best of ’em.
Seriously, the famed singer/songwriter could make a strong case for being on the Mount Rushmore of Texas Country.
People outside of the Lonestar State know Green for his 2003 mainstream hit “Wave On Wave,” but when you take a dive into his music, you realize that vivid storytelling through his songwriting is second to none.
With that being said, Green dropped a brand new single today, titled “Miles and Miles of You.”
The song is about taking a long drive, seeing gorgeous view after gorgeous view, but missing all of it…because all he sees in his mind is his significant other, and the drive can’t end fast enough because he just wants to “get home to you.”
Let me tell ya, this is the perfect song to turn all the way up on your ride home from work.
