Jon Pardi, Riley Green And Chris Janson Cover Hank William’s Jr.’s “All My Rowdy Friends Are Coming Over Tonight”

If you didn’t watch at least part of the New Year’s Eve show in Nashville, you missed out on some great performances.

But if you missed it then lucky for you, that’s what we’re here for.

We’ve already shared a couple of the best from Carly Pearce, Jon PardiRiley Green and Chris Janson.

Carly did a sassy cover of Shania Twain’s “Any Man Of Mine”, while Jon, Riley and Chris paid tribute to the great Dwight Yoakam with a cover of his hit “Honky Tonk Man”.

The trio also did a cover of Hank Williams Jr.’s “All My Rowdy Friends Are Coming Over Tonight”, and it was hands-down my favorite of the night. It’s partially because the nostalgia of when a reworked version of the song was the theme for Monday Night Football, but I can never get enough of this song.

A solo write from Hank Jr., it was released in 1984 as the second single from his Major Moves album. It only peaked at #10 on the Billboard U.S. Hot Country Songs chart, though, which is just an absolute crime.

It was, however, nominated for Best Country Song and Best Male Country Vocal Performance at the 1985 Grammy Awards.

I could listen to these three cover some of my favorite classic country all damn day:
