Carly Pearce Performs Shania Twain’s “Any Man Of Mine” On ‘New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash’

I am SO here for this.

Carly Pearce sang Shania Twain’s “Any Man Of Mine” on New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash Friday night, and it was easily the highlight of the show for me, which actually (believe it or not) did include some pretty decent performances from other artists like Miranda Lambert and Brooks and Dunn.

Co-written by Shania with her former husband, Robert John “Mutt” Lange, it was the second single from her The Woman in Me album and was also her first #1 hit on country radio in 1995.

Shania is one of Carly’s musical heroes, so she had to break out one of Shania’s ’90s hits to get 2022 started the right way, saying:

“Where my ladies at tonight. Y’all, Shania Twain, I grew up on her. She taught me that all you men out there need to know what a woman wants.”

She also sang a little bit of “Hide the Wine,” which was the second single from her debut studio album, Every Little Thing.

Wearing an incredible sequin snakeskin mini dress and teased-up hair, Carly delivered a sassy performance of one of my favorite ’90s country songs, and it’s the energy we all need to have going into this year:
