Man, I dig me some Kody West.
I remember hearing him for the first time a couple years back, as I discovered his 2017 Green album.
With songs like “The Prayer,” “Ledges,” and “Shine Out,” I knew this man was about to be a force in the Texas country rock scene, and it was a matter of time before he made a name for himself outside the Lonestar state.
Since that album, he released another project in 2020 titled Overgrown, and two kickass singles that will have your head banging in a heart beat. The first single was released back in July, titled “Buried Alive,” and the latest one?
It dropped today, titled “Let You Go.”
If you were a huge fan of the classic late ’90s, early 2000s rock sound, you’re gonna fall in love with “Let You Go.”
Keep an eye on this guy… his stuff keeps getting better and better.
