What. A. Game.

Granted, I took Texas and the points, and after the Longhorns jumped out to that 28-7 lead, it looked like it was in the bag. Well, it wasn’t…

To start the second quarter, Oklahoma starting quarterback Spencer Rattler found himself riding the pine pony, with Oklahoma head coach Lincoln Riley handing freshman quarterback Caleb Williams the reins.

Williams was largely touted as the best quarterback in the freshman class, but Rattler started the season as a Heisman candidate. A bold move? You could say so…

But this is the Red River Shootout… go big or go home.

And Williams went BIG.

With 3 touchdowns and 300 yards, Williams led the Sooners on the largest comeback in Red River Classic history, winning the game 55-48 on a walk off touchdown.

Everybody in Oklahoma, both fans and players alike, were going nuts…. everybody except Spencer Rattler.

Fans were quick to call out Spencer for not cheering for his team, not congratulating Williams, and all around… not being a good team player.

Twitter immediately went to work firing off some hilarious memes about his days in Norman being over.

Many fans also pointed out that Spencer wasn’t very humble, nor much of a team player in high school, sharing a clip from the show QB1: Beyond The Lights.

Th clip shows Rattler being a little asshole to his backup quarterback.
