Nope… I refuse to believe it.
This is not a random police officer in Alabama. This a new TV show liked Punk’d, but instead of Ashton Kutcher messing with people, The Rock pulls people over and they’re like “WTF, are you The Rock?”
Ok, not really… but I’d watch that show…
Anyways, according to AL.com, this Alabama cop has recently gone viral for looking exactly Dwayne The Rock Johnson. And looking at the side by side, it’s pretty uncanny.
“This gentlemen recently ran into Sgt. Mason and informed him he wanted to meet our Deputy that people say looks like “The Rock”.
Sgt. Mason passed that along and Lieutenant Fields was happy to swing by the Hartselle Wal-mart to see him.
Tyler is one of their many hardworkers and it was great to meet him and some of his coworkers!”
The 37-year-old Fields has been with the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office for the past 17 years. He’s worked as a corrections officer, in investigations, in the special victims unit and with drug-endangered children before being sworn in as a Deputy U.S. Marshal.
Of the Rock comparisons, Fields calls it a running joke that he’s happy to go along with:
“I’ve been called The Rock and Vin Diesel’s love child… I go along with it. It’s humorous. It’s flattering. It could be worse people, I guess.”
The Rock is too busy making money and slinging tequila to ever do some police work, but it would be pretty cool to see him pull a Shaq and become a Deputy at some point towards the end of his career. He definitely looks the part.
